RWE Supply & Trading, part of RWE AG, has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to supply Deutsche Bahn with electricity from the Amrumbank West offshore wind farm in the North Sea, which has been generating clean energy off the coast of Heligoland since 2015.
