Douglas is responsible for Clean Energy pipeline's key client accounts as well as the overall sales and membership functions. He also manages many of the company's bespoke research projects.
Mr Lloyd is a regular panellist and speaker in Europe and North America in the Clean Energy sector with leading organisations including IBF, Dow Jones and Euromoney. Douglas is also a regular contributor to publications including the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Economist.
Prior to founding the company, Douglas worked in corporate finance and principal investing for 12+ years in London, Paris and New York. He began his career at HSBC Investment Bank and was then recruited to Close Brothers Corporate Finance (London and Paris). Most recently he was Head of European Investment Banking at WR Hambrecht + Co. in New York. At Close Brothers Douglas was the fund manager for the highly successful First Close Technology Fund, which invested in companies including Active Hotels and Bango.
Douglas is a modern history graduate from Exeter University. He also holds a corporate finance diploma (MSI) from the Securities & Investment Institute.

Estelle is the content strategist behind clean energy pipeline. This includes constantly keeping up-to-date with industry development and gaining insight into the future of the sector. She also manages several of the company's large accounts.
Mrs Lloyd has authored and contributed to publications related to clean energy and finance worldwide including the Financial Times, eFinancial News and the Wall Street Journal.
Prior to founding Clean Energy pipeline in 2006, Estelle worked in Venture Capital and Investment Banking for 10+ years at BNP Paribas USA, in debt financing, leveraged group of Credit Agricole Indosuez (now Calyon).
Estelle is an MBA graduate from the dual international MBA programme of Columbia Graduate School of Business in New York and London Business School. She was born in France.
